		<description>Hey now, that really isn't fair, the senator made a very valid point, backed up by both reason and evidence.  

It might have been the only point he made during the entire interview, why do you have to take shots at him for it?

One thing this does prove is that republicans don't have a monopoly on stupidity, but then they never have -- Even this right wing love affair with the religious right is a fairly recent invention.</description>

I love how the religious extremists have an answer for everything. Carbon dating...? Anything past 6,000 years old, and that is just God testing our faith. Dinosaurs and man living with one another...? Oh man... how the hell are "&lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creationism" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;creationism&lt;/a&gt;" and "&lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intelligent_design" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;intelligent design&lt;/a&gt;" seen as a viable theories...!? I'd believe in the &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flying_spagetti_monster" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;Flying Spaghetti Monster&lt;/a&gt; should creationism take hold in popular belief, as they have the same evidence behind them!

Oh, and I just LOVE this &lt;a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Creationism#United_States" target="_blank" rel="nofollow"&gt;quote from Wikipedia&lt;/a&gt;:
