Counting some pieces of metal

Daily Shots

This past weekend, I finally got around to counting the change I had accumulated over the last few years, and rolling it up to take to the bank. Turns out, I collected a lot! $448.50 to be exact!

During the rolling process, which took about three hours, I idled my brain as I watched “How High” (which was idiotic) and “Employee Of The Month” (which was just as silly, but a bit more entertaining). About 20 minutes into “Open Season“, I realised I was done. A bunch of people had suggested taking all the change and using one of those sorting machines at Dominion (pardon me… it’s called “Metro” now), but I’m not willing to give up 10% of the total just for being lazy. To hell with that! This is MY collection of change!

Anyway, I carried my bundle of change to the office, and lugged it over to the bank after work. Can you believe that all that change weighed just over 25lbs!? It’s amazing how this much metal can be worth that much.  :-)
