1. What do you feel is the most important quality in a close friend?
Trust. If I can’t trust a friend, then they’re not really a friend at all, are they?
2. What is the one quality in a stranger you’d just met that would make you want to get to know them better?
Having a sense of humour would be a good start. I am a smart-ass through and through, so if that doesn’t fly with the “stranger”, then we’re probably not going to become fast friends. However, if their “one quality” is buying beer for everyone, then I’m sure we could work something out.
3. What do you think is the most important quality in a good leader?
Good leadership. Duh.
4. What is the one thing that makes a child likable to you?
If the kid is not constantly whining. If the kid is always screaming at the top of it’s lungs and complains when it doesn’t get it’s way, then I’ll let the parents take care of the brat, and get as far away as possible. If the child likes to run around and have fun, and is generally good natured and mannered (hey, let’s be honest here, no kid is an angel 100% of the time), then there are no issues!
5. What do you think is the one thing that makes a good parent (other than loving their children)?
Discipline. I was raised to know the difference between good and bad, so I always acted good, and when I acted bad, I did my best not to get caught. If I did get caught, then my Father, who was a giant of a man compared to me, would get involved, and you didn’t want that. He never spanked me as a child, but when he was angry, you didn’t want to be the reason. Think: raging bull charging at you.
