20090828 – The Friday Five

The Friday Five

I asked Molly to send some Friday Five questions my way, as I didn’t like the ones up on their site for the last few weeks and didn’t feel like flipping through their archive:

1. When you were little, what did you want to be when you grew up?

A train engineer. I had a fascination with trains when I was younger, and wanted to be the one who would drive it from point A to point B. At the time, my brother had the idea of being the best chef, so we made a deal that I would drive passenger trains, and he would be the head chef cooking the meals that we would all eat.

Ahhh, the imaginations we had when we were younger. Didn’t quite turn out as we planned.   :-)

2. What is your current favourite song?

Gives You Hell” by the All-American Rejects. I don’t know why I like it so much, but for the last few months, it’s been one I’ve played quite a bit.

3. What was your best latest purchase?

Hah. That’s easy. The cleaning of the family engagement ring that I proposed to Molly with.

I bet you thought I was going to claim it was some piece of technology…!?    :-D

4. What is something you always wanted to do and have never done?

Walk on the moon. Sadly, I don’t think it will ever happen.

5. If you were to be a movie character from a Sci Fi film, what character would you be?

Malcolm Reynolds from the short-lived TV series “Firefly” and the subsequent film “Serenity“. His sense of humour and sarcasm, lack of respect for authority, yet solid moral code, makes him a very cool character.
