Now available in Toronto: one of the coolest features for Google Maps, and also one that has caused some people to wonder about their privacy! Not only can you look up someone’s address on a map, and also get directions there, but you can now pull up a 360 view from the street so you know what the place look like when you get there. Stalkers, your job just got a whole lot easier!
We Canadians are generally a polite and passive bunch, get sometimes we either don’t like what you’re doing and will say so, or we just like to mess with ya. It’s hard to figure out if this guy down on Adelaide St. was irritated at seeing the Google Maps truck, or just decided to have some fun. His face is blurred so we can’t see a smile if there is one, but you be the judge:

I find it amusing that the folks at Google Maps would take the time to blur out his face, yet not the middle finger. Or the cup of Tim Horton’s.
Thanks to Molly for sending that my way.
Google blurs faces automagically, middle fingers and other brands aren’t included.
