I really and truly wish that I had at least half the talent that this dude named “Harvey Artifex” has been blessed with. It is completely mind-boggling that he would be able to draw Hugh Laurie’s face that well, and to that detail. Incredible.

Molly sent this to me earlier this morning (obviously a hint for something), and I think I’ve watched it four times already. At the time of this posting, the video has been watched about 10.3 million times (although, I had to link to another copy as the original has embedding disabled) and it was only posted on July 19th!

Basically, this is one of the best ideas for a wedding that I have ever seen. The groom and his boys, and the bride and her girls, dance down the aisle of the Church to the alter, all to the music of “Forever” by Chris Brown, and it is just plain awesome. They’re all having a blast doing it, and their friends and family are equally having as much fun watching it. Even the Pastor was grooving a bit. Check it out:

Some of the comments posted are quite upsetting, as it appears there are some that frown upon having a good time in a Church. Personally, as I am agnostic, I don’t see what the issue is. This is a celebration of the love shared between the bride and the groom, a celebration of their union, and a celebration of the friends and family they chose to invite. What happened during their special day is their business, yet they chose the share it with the world. If some people only have negative things to say, then I kindly ask that they shut the hell up and continue to live in the depression that is their lives. Everyone has the right to celebrate their wedding as they choose, and if the Church had any reservations with the way they planned to do it, then they had the opportunity to voice their concern. As it happened, the wedding went ahead, so obviously the Church didn’t have an issue with it, so no one else should either. Get with the NOW, you bigots!

Anyway, Jill and Kevin, all the best to you and your future together. From what we’ve seen in the video, you’re off to a GREAT start!

This is done by an artist named “Bat For Lashes“, and this video is what really made people sit up and notice. The track is “What’s a Girl to Do”, and it is quite good. Some have compared her msuic to that of Björk, and I can totally hear it and think of no better compliment. I’ll have to look into what else she has done.

Thanks to McLeody for forwarding this video my way… seems I post almost everything he sends me.

I’m sure that everyone at some point or another has wished that they could fly… well, I guess not people with a fear of heights… but most almost everyone. Anyway, these dudes come as close as you humanly can at flying. Wearing a suit that would make you look like a flying squirrel in spandex, these guys either ski right off a cliff, or jump right off a cliff, open their arms and spread their legs… and soar off into the valley. I can only imagine what a trip and a half that would be. Check it out:

Once I make my millions, this is what I’ll be doing each and every weekend. That’s so frikkin’ awesome.

Thanks to McLeody for the link.

You may think that you have a higher moral ground than the next guy, but when it really comes down to it, what else would this be good for?
