One of my favourite things in the world is when someone says something so utterly stupid, and realises it the moment it leaves their lips. Hell, I do that once in a while too, so I can appreciate the humour in it.
Anyway, here is a clip from Bill Maher’s “Religulous” where Senator of Arkansas Mark Pryor is put on the spot as to what his religious views are. I won’t spoil it for you, so check it out:

Wow. That was awesome. Too bad Pryor is a Democrat though… I prefer laughing at Republicans.
Thanks to Jared for sending this my way. Frikkin’ hilarious.

This weekend Molly and I drove up to Pembroke for Erin and Stephen’s wedding. It was a blast, and on the way back I HAD to get a picture of Molly standing in front of the sign for the town of “Purdy” (since she is). Also, we stopped off at the “Burger Bus”, which happened to be right next to the Kawartha Dairy. Believe it or not, but those are SMALL waffle cones! Diet be damned!!

During an awesome storm this aftenoon, a giant rainbow appeared, seemingly ending somewhere in our neighbourhood. Time to start searching for a pot of gold!

One thing about food advertisements that has irked me is that the food always looks perfect. The dude in the Tim Horton’s commercial about to eat a B.E.L.T., the kids eating McDonalds fries where all the fries in the container are lined up, even the beautiful fixings for a Subway sandwich.
On my way back from the bank, I passed by some bread trucks. These 18 wheelers had adverts on the side, as most do, and the picture of the sandwich with the “bite” out of it struck me as odd… it’s too perfect. Where are the teeth marks? The kid in the background has teeth that look as though they could chomp a copper pipe in half, yet the bite in the sandwich is too round. Why do I care? Why does it irk me so? I have no idea.
The mascot reminded me of a character from “Ren & Stimpy” known as POWDERED TOAST MAAAAAAN!!!

I’ve been waiting for this moment: I’ve hit 169lbs!
It’s been four and a half months, and since I started at 199.8lbs, through exercise and a change of my eating habits, I’ve managed to lose 30lbs. I recently picked up two of my 15lb weights to see what that felt like… and wow. That much less for my poor ankles to support.
This is the first time I’ve hit 169lbs, so I’m sure to go up, but just looking at my graph is inspiration enough to keep this going. Just as the 189-180lbs range became common for me, and recently the 179-170lbs range as well, I hope that I’ll be able to keep things within the 169-160lbs range. If I go below 160lbs, I’m sure I’ll look like a toothpick, so I think I’ll stop the weight loss at that point and start building on top of it.
Thanks again for all your kind comments, encouragement, and support. Couldn’t have done this without you, my friends.
